7/9: Uranus goes retrograde

7/9: Uranus ♅, the planet of authentic individuality goes retrograde at 4º34’ Aries ♈ (through Dec 10). Uranus represents the archetype of change and the need to break free from stagnation or a pattern that is no longer suitable for your current stage of personal growth. Sometimes this is at all costs, so Uranus is often associated with sudden or shocking, lightning-like shifts. When a planet changes directions it is most powerfully felt. Uranus moves through the zodiac slowly, so any planets or points in your chart in the early degrees may be receiving a significant hit and signaling a call for freedom, which will be felt over a period of months. This may be happening harmoniously or stressfully. Either way, the higher mind is at work. The retrograde period gives a chance to integrate and absorb the major changes that may be taking place internally or in your life.
